Design

Solid billet aluminium, CNC-machined into a frame of 6 mm and 925 grams. No plastic that flexes or scratches in your bag. Just the build quality of the laptop it sits next to. Cool aluminium, flush-set ports, nothing in excess.
Connectivity
One cable does it all.
USB-C for image and power. A second USB-C with power passthrough, so laptop and monitor share a single charger. Mini-HDMI for consoles and cameras. And an SD slot for importing shots on the road. One cable is enough. The rest is there when you want more.

Four buttons. That is all you need. Adjust brightness, colour profile and settings without a maze of menus. A calm profile for text by day, a calibrated profile for imagery by night. One tap and your second screen is set.

Slide the stand onto the Elite and it clicks in place magnetically. And releases just as easily. Stored flat, the whole unit is 6 mm thin.

From landscape to portrait in one motion. Vertical 4K is a surprisingly good canvas for long edits, timelines and documents.
Adjustable to the right angle
Tilt up to 70 degrees, stand up to 90. Combined with the anti-reflective coating, you will find a glare-free angle in any room.

Connecting: how the portable monitor works with MacBook, Windows, Switch and phone
MacBook & iPad
Any MacBook with USB-C (2016 and newer) sends image and power through one cable. Plug and play: macOS instantly recognises the monitor as a second display. iPads with USB-C work straight away too, no adapter needed.
Windows laptop
If your laptop has USB-C with DisplayPort Alt Mode (virtually every business laptop since 2018), one cable is enough. Older laptop without video over USB-C? Use the included Mini-HDMI cable plus a USB port for power.
Nintendo Switch, PS5 & Xbox
Mini-HDMI connects any console. The Nintendo Switch even works directly over USB-C, no dock required. A proper screen for an evening of film or play in a hotel room, on the Pro even in fluid 120Hz.
Phone & tablet
Samsung phones with DeX and many Android devices with USB-C video-out turn the monitor into a desktop. Useful as a presentation screen at a client's, or as a second screen for travel content. Your phone is the computer, the SOTSU is the display.
Ergonomics: your extra screen above your laptop, at eye level
A typical portable display sits next to your laptop, at table height. So you spend all day looking down. The FlipAction hinge works differently. The second screen clicks magnetically behind your laptop display and rotates 180 degrees upwards, above your laptop. Your top screen sits at eye level, exactly where ergonomists want your main display.
You notice the difference at the end of the working day. Straight neck, relaxed shoulders, and a workspace no wider than your laptop. Ideal for hot desks, train trays and anywhere a second screen next to your laptop simply does not fit.

No, and that's a deliberate choice: a battery makes a portable monitor heavier and thicker. The SOTSU is powered via USB-C, usually straight from your laptop. If your device delivers little power, such as a phone or Switch, you simply connect a charger via the second USB-C port with Power Passthrough.
What do you use an extra screen for with your laptop?
For anything one screen is too cramped for: your calendar next to your mail, source document next to your text, dashboard next to your spreadsheet. Thanks to the FlipAction hinge, the extra screen sits above your laptop at eye level. You gain workspace without needing a bigger desk.
Is the screen a touchscreen?
