Which sockets do they use in Argentina?

In Argentina, sockets of type C and type I are mainly used. The mains voltage is 220 V and the frequency is 50 Hz.

Do you need a travel plug in Argentina?

Yes, in many cases you do. Dutch type C plugs sometimes fit, but type F does not fit type I sockets, which are common in Argentina. With a world plug you avoid not being able to charge your devices.

Do you need a voltage converter?

No. The mains voltage of 220 V is virtually the same as the 230 V in the Netherlands. A voltage converter is therefore not needed. To be safe, check the label of your device. If it says “INPUT: 100–240V, 50/60Hz”, you can use it without any problems.

Still handy to have a world plug

For Argentina a world plug is strongly recommended. And if you're bringing a world plug anyway, it's smart to choose a good one right away. With a Remodius world plug you can manage in many more countries and you're also prepared for your next trip.
