Which sockets do they use in Kenya?

In Kenya, type G sockets are used. This is the same type as in the United Kingdom. The mains voltage is 240 V and the frequency is 50 Hz.

Do you need a travel plug in Kenya?

Yes. Dutch type C and F plugs do not fit into type G sockets. So you need a travel plug to be able to use your devices.
