Travel plug Central African Republic
Are you travelling to the Central African Republic for a trip, for work or to visit family? Then it is smart to check in advance whether your chargers and plugs will work there. In the Central African Republic, sockets of type C and E are used. The mains voltage is usually given as 220 volts at 50 Hz, although World Standards also mentions 230V at 50 Hz. For many modern chargers for phones, laptops and cameras this is usually no problem, as long as the adapter states 100-240V and 50/60Hz.
